We are extremely proud of our day service, Orchard Active Inclusion, that is available to those we support from our own residential services and community settings.
Each person has a personalised plan based on the New Directions Framework which is the approach to disability day services implemented by the HSE in 2021. The individual plan aims to meets the needs and desires of those we support and supports development and maximum independence.
The individuals that we support have access to a range of facilities including a horticulture centre, audio-visual and exercise facilities at our day service. Our day service staff also work with the people that we support to engage in community-based activities and groups.
Our day services team also run an outreach service which involves providing day respite care to those who are living in their family homes but need some additional support to make this possible. Our team provide a range of activities for those who are engaged in the outreach service which are either community based or at our day service location.
